Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer

Salary: $85,000 $95,000 (commensurate with experience)

Work Schedule: MondayFriday, approximately 45 hours/week within the core hours of 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
Travel: Up to 10% (job sites, dealer locations, trade shows)
Reports To: Engineering Manager

About the Role
Join our dynamic and growing team as a Senior Structural Engineer, where you'll play a key role in designing, quoting, and detailing high-quality structural steel products for the agricultural industry. Your expertise will drive innovation and excellence in every project, ensuring quality solutions that meet regulatory and customer expectations in a focused, ethical, and professional environment.

What You'll Do

  • Perform structural design and analysis using governing codes, standards, engineering formulas, and expertise

  • Support project development by laying out and detailing portions of projects from schematic designs

  • Create design drawings and sketches; collaborate with Detailers for accurate production documents

  • Analyze modeling results to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations

  • Maintain a master project list and follow a gated design process to communicate progress

  • Assist in developing product specifications and provide accurate project quotes

  • Offer technical field support and perform occasional site visits

  • Innovate new structural solutions that meet customer and regulatory needs

  • Coordinate prototype construction and validate the design meets quality and cost targets

What We're Looking For
Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

Experience:

  • 4+ years of structural steel design experience

  • Agricultural or industrial project background preferred

Certifications:

  • PE license or willingness to obtain PE within 1 year

Technical Skills:

  • Strong structural analysis and steel design knowledge (AISC 360, AISC 341)

  • Familiarity with codes: IBC, ASCE 7, OSHA 1910

  • Proficient in RISA 3D (preferred), AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office

Communication:

  • Excellent verbal and written skills

  • Confident presenter with a collaborative spirit
