Assembler

 Job Description:

Position Overview

A growing manufacturing company is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Assembler to join their production team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and assembling components and finished products in accordance with established work instructions, quality standards, and safety guidelines.

Core Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions to complete assigned tasks
  • Assemble parts, components, and subassemblies using hand tools, power tools, and fixtures
  • Inspect finished assemblies for defects, dimensional accuracy, and adherence to quality specifications
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation at all times
  • Report any equipment malfunctions, material shortages, or quality concerns to a supervisor
  • Meet daily production targets while maintaining consistent quality output
  • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines
  • Assist with inventory counts and component staging as needed

Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tools
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or production environment
  • Familiarity with measuring instruments such as calipers and gauges
  • Experience working in a lean or continuous improvement environment

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site position working in a production facility. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and may be required to work overtime or weekends based on production demands.
