As their presence in Houston, TX continues to expand, our client is seeking a Business Development Specialist to drive growth initiatives and strengthen relationships in the region. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker and natural communicator who enjoys cultivating partnerships, aligning business strategies, and helping shape the success of the Houston office.
Key Responsibilities

Partner with the Houston Office Director and business development/marketing teams to showcase the firms strengths and secure new opportunities in the region

Represent the firm at client meetings, industry events, and community organizations to enhance visibility and generate new business leads

Track and manage opportunities using the CRM system, ensuring a consistent pipeline of qualified prospects

Provide regular updates and reports on business development progress to office and firm leadership

Collaborate with the corporate marketing team to ensure regional strategies support overall firm objectives

Strengthen brand presence in Houston through strategic outreach and client engagement efforts

Plan and manage regional business development initiatives in alignment with firm marketing goals

Develop and nurture long-term client relationships in collaboration with office leadership and project teams
What Youll Bring

5-12 years of experience in a business development or client relations role, ideally within the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) industry

Bachelors degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
