Assembly Operator
Job Description:
Position Summary:
This entry-level supports our clients skilled manufacturing team through locating, pulling, fitting and assembling components into complete assemblies. This first-shift position comes with the opportunity to learn and grow from an entry-level assembler to having a career in manufacturing.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent
- Strong Computer Skills
- Teamwork skills and good attitude
- Mechanical Assembly and Blue Print Reading is a plus
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Working in conjunction with team members and center leader to: locate parts for orders, read blueprints and verify part accuracy, work with the Team Support Coordinator to prioritize components required to finish orders, and fitting and assembling components into complete assemblies.
- Gain knowledge and experience of all aspects in our production center including: deburring operations, laser marking, moving mechanical assemblies, and QA part inspection.
- Participating in our continuing improvement program which includes: collaboration with other departments, departmental meetings to discuss areas for growth, improvement, time-saving projects, ROI on new equipment and supply purchases, and strong teamwork skills.
Schedule:
- 1st Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM
- Overtime Hours are consistently available
