POSITION OBJECTIVE

To accomplish the company's Plumbing& Fire Fightingworksin a timely, efficient and economical

manner. Provides leadership and guidance to the Plumbing & Fire Fighting Section on matters

related to studies, designs,specifications and drawingsin his area of responsibility.

- Senior Project Engineers - Design Engineers

- Senior Draftsmen - Draftsmen

EDUCATION

Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a reputable

university with good grade and language school (preferable) and member of professional bodies

in Egypt and/or elsewhere. Master degree in Mechanical design (preferable).

EXPERIENCE

12-15 years of Experience with theoretical background comparable to degree requirements in

principles of plumbing & fire fighting design.

CONTACTS

Contacts with his/her department members as well as other different department members, as

deemed necessary in Cairo office only.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Implements specific engineering works, as applicable in accordance with the work program

of a project, or as requested within his Department.

Organizes and manages the work of engineers and draftsmen allocated to him and provides

relevant engineering works support and/or advice to project teams as applicable.

Undertakes special and/or project assignments asrequired by the Plumbing & Fire Fighting HOD and DHOD.

Verifiesthat all plumbing& fire fighting design works drawings and documents are to current

codes and standards and in accordance with Diyar standards.

Undertakes special and/or project assignments as required by the Plumbing & Fire Fighting

Head of Department and DHOD .

Directs, Organizes and manages the work of Plumbing & Fire Fighting allocated to him/her

and provides support and/or gives advice to project teams, as applicable.

Responsible for the coordination between all disciplines

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Knowledge of Plumbing & Fire Fighting design standards and codes.

Knowledge of and ability to use personal computers and related software, including Revit

, CAD tools, MEP and Word Processing Software.

Knowledge of modern and complex principles and practices of Plumbing & Fire Fighting

engineering in order to design and design review.

Knowledge of Human Resources Management Principles.

Capable of defining and meeting realistic timelines.

Good analytical, and creative problem-solving skills

Good communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Ability to motivate staff through proper direction and counseling

Able to read, understand and follow up technical information.

Interpersonal skills and the ability to work professionally with persons at all levels.
