Job Description:
Develop and implement the supply chain strategy aligned with the companys operational and commercial objectives, with a strong focus on OEM requirements.
Manage and develop relationships with local and international suppliers, including contract negotiation to ensure optimal cost, quality, and delivery performance.
Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including planning, procurement, production coordination, warehousing, and distribution within the glass industry.
Ensure the availability of raw materials and production supplies required for glass manufacturing in compliance with quality standards and cost targets.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce lead times, and minimize waste in line with Just-In-Time (JIT) OEM systems.
Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Sales, and Engineering teams to ensure full compliance with customer technical specifications.
Identify and manage supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to address market volatility or material shortages.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to achieve cost optimization, service level excellence, and quality objectives.
Lead, coach, and develop supply chain teams, ensuring talent growth and succession planning.
Ensure compliance with international standards, safety regulations, and sustainability requirements within the glass manufacturing environment.
