Senior Java Developer

Mission Overview:

Join Keystone Solutions as a Senior Java Developer consultant for a mission at our client. You will lead the design, development, and maintenance of backend components and RESTful APIs supporting enterprise-grade applications. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will collaborate closely with the client while ensuring robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

Consultancy Nature of Work:

This is a consultancy engagement through Keystone Solutions, involving on-site collaboration at the client location for a minimum of 2 days per week. You will operate within the clients environment while benefiting from Keystone Solutions consultancy framework, applying your expertise to deliver tangible outcomes for the clients projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Ensure code quality through unit, integration, and performance testing.
• Conduct code reviews, promote best practices, and mentor junior developers.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, and DevOps engineers to define and refine technical solutions.
• Support deployment, cutover, and hypercare phases, ensuring stable releases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring system performance and reliability.
• Maintain and update technical documentation for services, configurations, and interfaces.
• Contribute to technical design discussions, ensuring alignment with architectural principles and cloud strategy.

All the responsibilities above will be performed as a Keystone Solutions consultant, embedded with the client and working within their processes and teams.

Conformity Criteria:

• A minimum of 10 years working experience as a Java developer.
• Demonstrable experience  minimum 5 years with microservices architecture.
• Demonstrable working experience with integration with SaaS solutions.
• Demonstrable experience  minimum 5 years with Spring framework.
• Minimum 2 days per week onsite.
• C1 level (or equivalent) proficiency in spoken and written English.

Evaluation Criteria:

• Core Java Proficiency: Uses OOP, collections, streams, and exception handling effectively.
• Frameworks & Libraries: Applies Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, Maven/Gradle, testing frameworks.
• API Design & Integration: Designs clean, reusable REST APIs, respects standards and security.
