Role Overview:

As a Data Engineer consultant at Keystone Solutions, you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines and analytics infrastructure for our client. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, accessibility, and performance across the organization while working on-site at the client location.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
  • Develop and optimize data models for reporting and analytics in Power BI.
  • Manage data lakes and warehouses (Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, Snowflake).
  • Ensure data governance, quality, and compliance with GDPR and internal standards.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data needs.
  • Automate workflows and support real-time data processing.
  • Document data architecture and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and data pipeline tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt).
  • Hands-on experience with Azure services: Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake, Synapse.
  • Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
  • Experience with data modeling, API integration, and performance tuning.
  • Knowledge of data security and compliance best practices.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with R, Spark, or machine learning workflows.
  • Exposure to DevOps tools (Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Previous experience in the energy or infrastructure sector.
