Mission Overview:

This is a consultancy mission at a client site, where you will represent Keystone Solutions as a Scrum Master. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will be engaged in dynamic projects, working on-site and collaborating with client teams to deliver impactful results. You will bring your expertise to diverse environments, ensuring the successful application of agile methodologies and supporting the client’s teams in their transformation journey.


Responsibilities:

  • Act as the key reference for agile frameworks, particularly Scrum, ensuring the project team’s understanding and effective use of the methodology.
  • Protect the team from internal and external distractions, maximizing project outcomes.
  • Coach the project team, business lines, and stakeholders on agile interactions and best practices.
  • Integrate client systems with external services and adapt internal IT systems and processes accordingly.
  • Align operational processes and adapt roles and responsibilities to ensure smooth transitions and effective collaboration.
  • Set up and facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-up, Sprint Review, Sprint Planning, Retrospective) and other meetings.
  • Schedule and follow key steps of the methodology, ensuring smooth use of Scrum and helping the team overcome obstacles.
  • Support the Product Owner with the Product Backlog and assist the team in delivering the Definition of Done, Sprint Backlog, and more.
  • Track team capacity and velocity metrics for planning and progress.
  • Coach and challenge the project team, promoting self-organization and removing barriers to effectiveness.
  • Act as an ambassador of agile methods within the organization and provide reporting on Scrum deployment.
  • Manage risks and issues as they arise.
  • Work within cross-functional agile teams, contributing to various disciplines as needed to achieve sprint goals.

Requirements:

  • At least 6 years of relevant experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role.
  • Sound knowledge of agile reporting and follow-up tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Understanding of automated unit testing, automated functional testing, and continuous integration tooling.
  • Strong background in software development and project management methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Cards Processing systems is required.
  • Expert knowledge of agile methodologies and techniques (e.g., Kanban).
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Sound knowledge of English and at least one local language (French and/or Dutch).
  • Excellent communication skills, empathy, and a pragmatic, positive attitude.
  • Ability to foster open feedback, trust, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Proactive in developing team competencies and encouraging knowledge sharing.
  • Team player who encourages collaboration, autonomy, and problem-solving.
  • Ability to look beyond day-to-day objectives and align actions with IT strategy.

Work Environment:

  • Expectation of 50% on-site and 50% homeworking.
  • Agile teams are cross-functional, with members contributing to multiple disciplines as needed.
