Mission Overview:

This opportunity is a consultancy mission at a client site, where you will represent Keystone Solutions as a Financial Reporting Officer. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will be engaged in dynamic projects for our client, bringing your expertise to diverse environments and contributing to impactful financial reporting activities.


Responsibilities:

  • Analysing and validating received data, monitoring trends and developments, and ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Identifying and resolving issues by collaborating with relevant departments and contributing to problem-solving efforts.
  • Managing various financial reports and participating in the modification of procedures and systems.
  • Updating and verifying changes in complex tables and conducting comprehensive process checks on reporting systems.
  • Checking and evaluating the use of internal accounts, including suspense and active accounts, and ensuring proper account management and system coordination.
  • Providing harmonised reports to meet company and group needs, streamlining information flows, and ensuring clarity in reporting.
  • Managing end-to-end processes from back-office controls to balance sheet and profit and loss account explanations.
  • Compiling internal and external financial reports for annual account delivery.
  • Preparing monthly and other reports, ensuring timely monthly closure, and reconciling balances with reporting systems.
  • Selecting and monitoring consistency within files and accounts, commenting on reports, and updating administrative and operational procedures.
  • Implementing improvements in content and organisation, participating in changes to procedures, processes, and systems, and analysing and evaluating these elements.
  • Identifying issues and proposing improvements, translating new laws and group rules into system requirements, and participating in projects related to new regulations and cross-border products.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in economics, accounting, or a similar qualification.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Fluency in Dutch, French, and English.
  • Strong knowledge of bank accounting and advanced MS Office skills (Excel & Access).
  • Understanding of products and services in the area of responsibility.
  • Experience in a banking environment is preferable.
  • Key soft skills: accuracy, strong analytical skills, communication, team spirit, risk awareness, organisational sensitivity, autonomy, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Expectation: 50% on-site and 50% homeworking.
