Automation Test Engineer Consultant

Mission Overview:

This is a consultancy mission at a client site, where you will represent Keystone Solutions as an Automation Test Engineer. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will be hired to work on client projects, bringing your expertise to dynamic environments and contributing to the success of our clients’ digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of end-to-end quality, ensuring every feature meets high standards from the first line of code to final deployment.
• Design and shape smarter test plans, defining scope and priorities to maximize impact.
• Automate testing processes using Java (Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber), freeing the team from repetitive tasks and accelerating delivery.
• Transform test results into actionable insights, sharing findings clearly to drive fast team decisions.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve issues or escalate them with precision for development teams.
• Collaborate closely with developers to prioritize automation efforts and ensure resources are focused where they matter most.
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth and efficient build processes.
• Debug scripts and applications across various environments, ensuring flawless execution.
• Design and maintain scalable, reliable, and effective automated test frameworks and tools.
• Document processes and results thoroughly, providing a valuable resource for the team.
• Apply industry-standard rigor to all testing activities, maintaining high quality standards (ISTQB).

Requirements:

• At least 6 years of relevant experience in test automation.
• Proficiency with Selenium-Java and BDD frameworks (Cucumber/Gherkin).
• Experience creating comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data for both functional and non-functional testing on real and virtual devices.
• Ability to execute automated tests, analyze results, and report defects with detailed logs and replication steps.
• Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaboration with development teams to identify automation opportunities and prioritize test cases.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for automation scripts and applications in various environments.
• Knowledge of software testing standards (ISTQB).
• Technical skills: Selenium – Java, Git, Jenkins, Maven, BDD, Gherkin, TestNG.
• Nice to have: Experience with Perfecto and API Automation.
• Business experience: Practical experience with Scrum is preferable.
