Mission Overview:

This is a consultancy mission delivered by Keystone Solutions. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will work closely with the client to define standards, study new integration technologies, design patterns and common solutions, and contribute to the architecture of complex integrations across different departments. The work will range from defining solutions in projects to documenting guidelines, recommendations, and expertise in Azure.


Context of the Mission / Objective(s) of the Job:

At the client, the integration of applications, partners and packages plays a growing role. We are developing more and more API and more and more asynchronous flows. Additionally, we will have to migrate out of the BizTalk infrastructure.

Standardization is important to ensure efficient and qualitative project development and monitoring. We need therefore clear solutions, governance, and monitoring.

The Integration team is responsible to define the standards, study new integration technologies, define patterns and common solutions. In collaboration with the delivery teams, we are owner of the technologies and manage the supporting platforms & frameworks like, for instance, Sentinet (API gateway), Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Hub, Azure Logic Apps.

The Integration team works also on the architecture of the complex integrations that can involve different departments of the client.

Collaboration with various people, with different profiles is key.

The client is actively looking for an Integration Architect to join its IT Integration team. The work will go from the definition of solution in projects to documentation of guidelines, recommendations, and expertise in Azure.

As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will perform all responsibilities and deliverables under our consultancy model, embedded with the clients teams.


Mission Period:

  • Expected Start Date: As soon as possible
  • Duration: 12 months (Depending on project evolution, extension is possible)


Language Requirement:

  • English: Speaking 2, Reading 2, Writing 2 (Mandatory)
  • Dutch: Speaking 3/1, Reading 3/1, Writing 3/1 (Preferable)
  • French: Speaking 3/1, Reading 3/1, Writing 3/1 (Preferable)

  • Experience as a software/application developer (specifically on web, workflow services or batch systems)
  • Experience in testing (preparation & execution test scenario)
  • Experience in insurance or financial domain
  • Experience on projects with integration aspects with packages or external solutions, or different technology platforms

Technical experience required (hard skills related to physical or digital tools)

  • Azure Integration Services and applicable patterns — Mid-level (2 y - 5 y)
  • Knowledge of .NET (Framework, 6+) — Mid-level (2 y - 5 y)
  • Good knowledge of REST/JSON — Mid-level (2 y - 5 y)

  • General technical knowledge (HTTP, certificates, SOAP/XML)

Functional experience required (job experience in particular industry and in particular function)

  • Good knowledge and experience of most common integration patterns (mapping, orchestration, security, gateway etc) — Senior (5 y - 8 y)
  • Experience in integration workflow design (Business Project) — Senior (5 y - 8 y)
  • Experience in Functional asset maintenance (Functional domain) — Senior (5 y - 8 y)

Preferable

  • Impact analysis & identification of Non-Regression Testing needs
  • Experience with Document Management Systems


Objective of the Job:

  • Collaborate on projects of various sizes in a transversal team. As an integration team member, you are in contact with many different IT teams. A very good collaboration skill is therefore key.
  • Maintain & promote Integration patterns & platforms
  • Participate in internal improvements tracks to increase industrialization of our processes
  • Participate to overall integration patrimony/assets documentation & quality, Functional Architecture Asset maintenance (update catalogs & description of services & batch available in the domain)

Integration development projects

  • Understand the functional aspects and the bigger picture of an integration project
  • Analyse and decompose complex requirements
  • Provide a detailed integration design according to standards
  • Integration flowchart
  • Interface/messages definition
  • Mappings
  • Work in close collaboration with the integration & domain architects following recommendations & global architecture
  • Provide detailed input & support the integration developer during implementation phase
  • Single Point Of Contact for the Test phase of the project, able to identify scope changes & to fix defects with the developer
  • Work in close collaboration with other integration project stakeholders (project leaders, analysts, business owners, etc) and proactively propose actions when needed
  • Communicate progress on ongoing activities
  • Validate that the implemented solution is up to specifications (functional & non-functional)
  • Provide support on the implemented solution by using tools (first troubleshooting/analysis in case of incident)

All above responsibilities will be performed as a Keystone Solutions consultant, embedded within the clients teams and governance.
