Key Responsibilities
Preside over administrative hearings and pre-hearing conferences
Rule on motions and evidentiary matters in accordance with applicable regulations
Draft and issue binding administrative orders with legal accuracy and clarity
Hear appeals as assigned and provide procedural and legal guidance to involved parties
Collaborate with CNMI Department of Labor leadership on case disposition and policy matters
Maintain strict impartiality while navigating complex labor regulations unique to CNMI
Qualifications
Education:
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited institution required
Experience:
Minimum of five years of legal or administrative experience as an attorney, judge, or equivalent role
Licensure:
Bar membership not required
Requirements:
Official transcripts and criminal clearance required
