Location: Kolwezi, DRC (Site-Based, Rotation)
Employment Type: Contract 12-month

We are seeking an experienced Draftsperson to support our client's engineering and project teams in delivering high-quality technical drawings for mining and infrastructure projects.

About the Role

You will be responsible for producing accurate and detailed technical drawings based on specifications provided by engineers across civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines. Your work will support the design, construction, maintenance, and modification of plant and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce 2D and 3D technical drawings using CAD software
• Develop detailed drawings for structures, installations, and construction projects
• Interpret and incorporate engineering specifications into designs
• Review and revise drawings to ensure compliance with design standards
• Support engineers with design development and technical documentation
• Assist with site surveys and integrate survey data into drawings
• Specify materials and support planning of engineering works
• Ensure accuracy and precision to avoid rework and delays

Requirements:

• Minimum 5–10 years' experience in drafting within engineering or mining environments
• Qualification in Design & Drafting or related engineering field
• Strong experience with CAD software (2D and 3D modelling)
• Exposure to civil, mechanical, and electrical drawings
• Experience in mining, construction, or heavy industry preferred
• Previous expat experience in Africa advantageous
