The Role:

Reporting to the People Manager, you are the cornerstone of our internal recruitment and talent acquisition endeavours. In this dynamic role, you'll oversee the entire hiring process, from initial sourcing to final selection, ensuring a seamless and effective recruitment journey. Leading a dedicated team of recruiters, your guidance will be instrumental in shaping their strategies and success.

Your background in high-volume recruitment equips you with a unique understanding of the fast-paced nature of talent acquisition. At Kinect, you'll channel this experience into fostering a sense of urgency and efficiency in our recruitment processes. Your ability to swiftly identify and engage with top talent will not only fill immediate vacancies but also strategically build our talent reserves for future needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment Strategies: Devise and implement innovative, cost-effective mass recruitment strategies that are in harmony with the organisation's objectives, ensuring a perfect blend of efficiency and efficacy.
  • Leadership Collaboration: Forge strong relationships with the leadership team, orchestrating cross-functional recruitment campaigns through collaborative efforts to enhance our hiring success.
  • Partnership with People Manager: Work closely with the People Manager and other department heads, gaining a comprehensive understanding of hiring needs and contributing to strategic workforce planning.
  • Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire recruitment process, from sourcing to onboarding, including conducting essential compliance checks, to ensure a thorough and compliant hiring journey.
  • Multi-Channel Sourcing: Utilise a variety of channels, including internal and external job boards and referral programmes, to attract and secure top-tier talent, strengthening our organisation.
  • Candidate Assessment: Conduct in-depth individual and group interviews, meticulously evaluate candidate competencies, and provide well-informed recommendations to the Senior Management Team.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a small team of recruiters, offering expert guidance and support, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Workload Coordination: Efficiently allocate tasks amongst team members, ensuring optimal team performance and the achievement of ambitious recruitment targets.
  • Internal Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with department heads, hiring managers, and other key internal stakeholders, ensuring a unified approach to talent acquisition.
  • Data-Driven Recruitment: Leverage sophisticated recruitment tools to meticulously track and analyse key metrics, providing insightful, data-driven reports to inform decision-making.
  • Continuous Improvement: Regularly analyse recruitment data to identify areas for enhancement, and agilely implement strategic changes to continuously elevate our recruitment processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A minimum of 3 years of Recruitment Management experience. (Either in-house or Agency)
  • Experience in building and maintaining a talent pipeline.
  • Strong understanding of both paid and organic talent acquisition channels.
  • A creative mindset, always looking for innovative ways to attract and retain talent.
  • Youre a natural relationship builder, with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven experience in recruitment, with a flair for leading teams and driving volume recruitment initiatives.
  • Bachelors degree in HR, Business, or related field (preferred).
