Deskside Support Technician (Part time - Remote)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Deskside Support Technician with 2 to 4 years of experience in supporting PC hardware and software. The ideal candidate will be comfortable providing hands-on support for servers and networks, and have experience with mobile data plans, networks, and devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems, hardware, and peripherals.
- Document, maintain, upgrade, or replace hardware and software systems.
- Support and maintain user account information, including rights, security, and systems groups.
- Train employees, identify, analyze, and repair product failures, and order and replace parts as needed.
- Resolve network connection issues and track connections back to network switches.
- Escalate unresolved problems and issues to higher-level support.
- Provide physical support for customer computer systems, including lifting up to 40 lbs, bending, crawling, and laying as needed.
- Represent CompuCom in a professional and businesslike manner, communicating effectively with customers and associates.
- Respond to routine technical questions and requests for information.
