Job Title: Technical Writer

Job Description:
We seek a talented Technical Writer to create clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation. You will develop various content, including user manuals, how-to guides, and reference materials, to simplify complex technical concepts. The role involves regular collaboration with customer representatives to ensure content accuracy and relevance. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, enabling them to break down complex topics into easy-to-understand formats for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain technical documentation such as user guides, manuals, and instructional content.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customer representatives to gather content requirements.
• Translate complex technical information into clear, concise documents for both technical and non-technical users.
• Ensure all documentation meets quality standards and is easy to understand.
• Use visuals, diagrams, and other graphical elements to enhance understanding.
• Regularly update documentation to reflect changes in products, systems, or processes.
• Follow and improve documentation processes and templates.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in technical writing for software and IT support documentation.
• Strong written communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Familiarity with software development processes and the SDLC.
• Experience using Atlassian tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• A university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to quickly understand and explain complex technical concepts in a user-friendly way.
• Experience with version control tools like Git and documentation software such as MadCap Flare or Adobe FrameMaker.
• Understanding of markup languages (e.g., HTML, XML) is a plus.
