King Global Enterprise Solutions in coordination with D. Gillette Industrial Services (DGIS) Inc . DGIS is a small business that develops and manufactures products for the US military. DGIS is seeking a Manufacturing Manager who is looking for an opportunity to (who would like to) utilize their experience to develop and streamline manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for managing day-to-day workflow and production for the DGIS manufacturing facility located in Easton, PA., and will report directly to the president/ owner.

Specific job requirements

Provide guidance, direction, support, and leadership to all personnel during daily operations.

Drive the manufacturing cadence. Assign and direct work to meet daily production goals.

  • Assist in training and instruction of employees to perform work in a safe, proper, and efficient manner.
  • Manage all factory scheduling, personnel paperwork, and timecards.

Control labor and material usage to meet or improve product costs.

Recommend improvements to job methods and processes.

  • Drive a culture of first-time quality; ensure the department meets ISO compliance, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement goals.
  • Utilize the DGIS ERP system to maintain efficiency, and productivity and maintain proper inventory

levels.

  • Foster an environment of inclusion, making DGIS an employer of choice for current and future employees.
  • Drive a culture of change by being a change agent.

Education, Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business production, operation management or a related field.

A minimum of 5 years experience managing teams in a manufacturing setting.

  • Must have a firm grasp of manufacturing concepts, manufacturing value stream, productivity, and quality.
  • Must have the ability to define and manage using production metrics.
  • Must be able to resolve problems related to factory layout and flow of materials.

Must be able to work with suppliers to assure timely and first-time quality material flow.

  • Must be able to drive results in a collaborative environment.

Must have strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Must be comfortable using a computer and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must have experience with ERP systems ( ECI M1 preferred).
  • Experience with government production programs preferred.
