About Your Company

King Deux is partnering with a leading venture capital with a global presence in being an industry leading technology adopter. We are looking for an investment director with computer science / engineering academic background preferably to join the investment team. You can be based in Hong Kong / Shanghai with strong support and resources from the GPs, Listed Co to lead a full investment cycle.

About your role

• Conduct market and industry research to identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities
• Analyze financial statements, business plans, and other relevant information to assess the viability and potential of prospective investments
• Prepare investment memos and other materials for presentation to the investment committee
• Participate in due diligence efforts and assist in the negotiation of investment terms
• Monitor portfolio companies and provide regular updates to the investment team

What you will need to succeed

• Bachelor degrees or above with a strong preference for candidates with a background in engineering (e.g., electrical, automation, mechanical), computer science is preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in venture capital, private equity or corporate development, with a track record in TMT sectors, particularly in AI-related software, robotics systems, automation solutions, and components of robotics, and experience with dollar funds or having connections in overseas institutional investors and the venture capital community are strong advantages;
• Extensive experience with a sharp acumen in advanced technologies, robotics innovation, and the integration of hardware and software solutions;
