Head of Business Operations (FinTech / Payment / Crypto)

The company is a blockchain-powered payment platform designed to transform cross-border transactions. The platform enables 24/7 global fund settlement, faster transaction times, and reduced costs, supporting mainstream currencies, crypto assets, and applications such as daily payments, digital content tipping, and international remittances. The company aims to lead the digital payment landscape with innovative, secure, and accessible solutions.
The company seeks a strategic and results-driven Head of Business Operations to lead operational and growth initiatives. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will drive business strategy, optimize operations, and forge key partnerships to establish the platform as a global leader in FinTech innovation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end operations of the FinTech platform, including payments, remittances, acquiring, and virtual card services, driving strategies to achieve growth and revenue targets.
• Optimize operational processes to enhance product competitiveness, user experience, and scalability in the global payment ecosystem.
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with financial institutions, ecosystem players, and stakeholders to expand market reach and foster product innovation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including anti-money laundering (AML), anti-fraud, and risk management, while implementing agile strategies to navigate complex regulatory landscapes.
• Leverage data-driven insights to boost user acquisition, retention, transaction volume (TPV), and revenue, tailoring strategies to diverse business scenarios.

Qualifications

• Industry Expertise: Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in FinTech, payments, or blockchain-based businesses, with deep knowledge of payments, remittances, acquiring, and virtual cards. Experience with payment-focused Super Apps or crypto payment operations is highly preferred.
• Strategic Insight: Strong understanding of payment industry business models, with proven ability to develop and execute strategies aligned with business growth stages.
• Digital Currency Knowledge: Familiarity with the digital currency ecosystem (users, markets, and platforms), with hands-on experience in crypto payment operations being a strong advantage.
• Data-Driven Leadership: Demonstrated success in driving user growth, engagement, and revenue through data-driven strategies, with practical case studies showcasing adaptability across business contexts.
• Partnership Development: Proven ability to establish institutional channels and ecosystem partnerships, integrating resources to support business expansion and innovation.
• Compliance & Risk Management: In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance, AML, anti-fraud, and risk control in the payment industry, with experience developing and implementing effective strategies.
• Language Requirement: Fluency in Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken) is mandatory to engage with key stakeholders and markets.
