Full-Time Manufacturing Engineering Opportunity

Our client is currently hiring for a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer role within its automated production division. This permanent role includes a robust compensation plan, performance bonuses, health coverage, paid time off, and relocation support when applicable.

Role Summary:

The selected candidate will support operations in a high-output production environment focused on precise assembly and packaging processes. This role emphasizes project execution, equipment enhancements, and cost-saving initiatives with a continuous improvement mindset. The individual will work closely with technical teams, vendors, and internal departments to enhance production reliability and efficiency.

Key Functions:

  • Lead design improvements and manage capital projects involving automated systems

  • Troubleshoot and maintain mechanical systems, including pneumatic and fluid-powered machinery

  • Drive resolution of recurring performance or quality issues within manufacturing lines

  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with suppliers and internal departments

  • Oversee the planning, installation, and validation of new or modified machinery

  • Maintain documentation such as operational procedures, validation plans, maintenance logs, and change records

  • Guide technicians and support staff in equipment upgrades, repairs, and installations

Ideal Background:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

  • At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably involving high-speed automation

  • Familiarity with mechanical systems design, motion control, CAD-based drafting, and pneumatic tools

  • Background in lean process improvement strategies and data-driven decision-making

  • Green Belt or Black Belt certification in Six Sigma is a plus
