About the job Territory Sales Representative

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take ownership of sales and profitability growth in a geographic territory
- Develop and execute a Strategic Plan to achieve growth goals
- Maintain high-quality communication with existing customers
- Prospect for customers through networking, trade shows, and trade publications
- Establish credibility, build rapport, and perform needs analysis with prospective customers
CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS AND MARKET ANALYSIS
- Identify opportunities and improvement areas
- Provide education and training for fleets
- Support dealers with sales training and client service
- Submit detailed notes of customer visits for CRM entry
- Continuous relationship building and needs analysis
OEM ENGAGEMENT
- Collaborate with OEM engineering and sales teams
- Gain insights into end user buying habits and market trends
- Establish rapport and act as a resource for OEMs
- Demonstrate aftermarket sales growth potential
- Gather market and competitor information
TRAVEL AND REPORTING
- Communicate travel plans and goals to the supervisor
- Prepare and relay weekly itineraries and monthly sales reports
- Gather and communicate regional competition positions and new opportunities
- Work trade shows regionally and nationally
- Provide OEM support, training, and research competition
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field (preferred)
- Associate's degree required
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience
- Basic computer skills, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
PHYSICAL AND WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, and use hands regularly
- Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Specific vision abilities required
- Exposure to various environmental conditions
- Ability to travel for extended periods (up to 50% of time or more and fly)
