KKCompany is seeking a Contract Product Designer to support the design of a music streaming app for the Japanese market.
Were looking for someone who not only understands user-centered design, but also has a strong grasp of Japanese culture, design sensibilities, and user expectations.In this role, you'll work closely with product managers and developers to create intuitive, culturally relevant experiences for Japanese users. From wireframes to final UI, youll help ensure that every detail feels rightvisually, functionally, and emotionally.

This is a 1-year fixed-term position, ideal for designers who are self-driven, collaborative, and excited to bring their skills to a product that connects people to music in meaningful ways


Responsibilities:

    • Participate in product design projects, including information architecture, user flow planning, wireframing, mockups, and prototyping
    • Design and optimize user interfaces for App platforms
    • Collaborate closely with PMs, developers, and QA to ensure design feasibility and high-quality implementation
    • Follow through on design implementation, participate in development reviews and design QA
    • When necessary, support user interviews, usability testing, and data analysis to inform iterative improvements

    Requirements:

    • 2 to 4 years of experience in product design, with the ability to work independently
    • Proficient in Figma, basic prototyping, and writing design specifications
      Strong user-centered mindset with the ability to proactively suggest design improvements
    • Solid understanding of product logic and development processes; able to collaborate smoothly with engineers and PMs
    • A keen eye for detail and a high standard for design quality
