Responsibilities:
- Help Enterprise customers plan and develop end-to-end cloud-based OTT Video Streaming Platform to help business growth.
- Oversee the overall end-to-end program management, serving as the owner of business engagement (customer relations), assessing and planning for customer success metrics, quotation management and negotiations (Review pricing structure in alignment with service feature/operations, market value, and margin opportunities, feature & operational requirement planning, resource review, effort estimations, executions associated with development teams, risk management measurements, and post launch operations, to ensure successful service delivery and reliability.
- Be able to take business requirements from Enterprise customers, manage project charter and P&L, work with both project/product engineering managers and associated cross-functional teams (i.e., product owners/managers, designers, quality assurance, customer support teams, etc), to drive end-to-end solutions delivery. Define, plan, organize, control, deliver, and operate, to ensure post launch project operation efficiency and scalability.
- Accountable for on time, on budget, high quality project delivery to meet customers needs. Oversee the overall resource planning, allocation and execute stakeholder & risk management, to ensure success.
- Stakeholder management and communications: ensure project team alignment throughout project lifecycle via project updates and manage risk management.
- Continuous improvements: facilitate and solidify project management by creating, managing, and optimizing communications and processes to improve efficiency.
- Project management key focus:
- Business engagement: Initiate new business/project requirements understanding, conduct technical feasibility & effort estimations with associated development teams. Cultivate relationships across external customer and internal engineering/cross teams, serving as the direct PM liaison for customer/cross functional teams.
- Planning & execution: Be able to take business requirements, devise roadmap, schedule, and conduct resource management. Work closely with engineering managers and associated scrum teams, quality assurance, operation teams, to drive end-to-end solutions for on time, on budget solution delivery and reliability.
- Demonstrate project knowledge and facilitate the development of requirements in consideration of known technical capabilities and limitations. Manage global operations SOP planning and execution, handling incident recovery as emergency commander to push for immediate resolution.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience as Enterprise Solutions Program Manager/Operations Manager, leading service launches
- In-depth knowledge and experience running an enterprise solutions/projects development through end-to-end software development lifecycle
- Experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects. PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent are preferred
- Strong verbal/written communication in both Chinese & English, and presentation skills, including ability to effectively communicate with customers and cross teams
- Self-directed, yet highly-cooperative and flexible work style within the team
- Requires strong attention to detail, excellent analytical, problem-solving, facilitation and communication skills. Strong leadership, judgment and decision-making abilities, being able to communicate to all levels of the organization, including top management
Nice to Have:
- 5+ years of experience as business manager, managing financial and budgetary processes
- Japanese speaking a plus
- Experience working with remote and global teams a plus
