Job Overview:
KKCompany is seeking an experienced and strategic Assistant Business Development Manager to drive expansion and build partnerships in the APAC team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and managing strategic opportunities while also supporting senior executives to improve operational efficiency and drive cross-functional alignment. This hybrid role combines business development expertise with organisational leadership, making it ideal for a highly motivated professional with a blend of BD and strategic operational experience.
Responsibilities:
- Identify New Opportunities: Research and evaluate market trends, potential partnerships, and business opportunities in key markets across APAC that align with KKCompanys strategic goals.
- Develop & Implement Strategies: Design and execute strategies and initiatives to drive business growth, market share, and brand presence in target markets. Meanwhile, support the GM in defining and tracking key strategic priorities, OKRs, and business growth initiatives.
- Negotiate Partnerships: Lead negotiations and manage relationships with key partners, securing favourable terms and maintaining strong, mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with different product segments to ensure alignment with business objectives and successful execution of key initiatives.
- Project Management: Oversee high-impact projects across departments, providing structure and resources as needed to drive initiatives to completion.
- Communicate & Coordinate: Drive cross-departmental initiatives from planning to execution, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Identify execution risks and remove roadblocks in coordination with department leads.
- Support Senior Leadership: Partner with executives to prioritize tasks, streamline processes, and implement strategic initiatives. Act as a trusted partner and provide insights to support data-driven decision-making.
Requirements:
- Experience: 5+ years in Business Development, Partnerships, Business Planning & Analysis, Business Operations, or related fields, preferably within the tech or digital entertainment industries in the APAC region.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
- Skillset: Strong strategic planning, negotiation, and project management skills.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Mandarin or another APAC language is a plus.
- Analytical Abilities: Proficiency in data analysis and familiarity with business intelligence tools to assess market trends and measure partnership impact.
- Leadership: Ability to work independently, influence stakeholders, and manage cross-functional projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
