We are seeking highly organized and detail-oriented Service Business Managers to join our Business Operations team. In this role, you will work closely with cross teams i.e., Solution Program Managers, Account Managers, Legal, Finance, and Engineering to ensure accurate and efficient monthly billing execution, streamline quotation logic, and improve operational workflows that support our enterprise delivery.

You will play a critical role in ensuring billing accuracy, financial process alignment, quotation sanity-checks, 3rd party service contractual management, and stakeholder accountability, helping the business run with greater efficiency, transparency, and profitability. Performance indicators for this role will include billing accuracy and timeliness, effectiveness of process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration feedback. This position reports to the Multimedia Solutions Program Management division lead.


Responsibilities:

    Billing & Invoicing Ownership

    • Manage Enterprise customers regular/monthly billing statements and invoices in collaboration with Solution Program Managers, Legal, Finance, and Engineering teams (i,e., Telecom, cable companies, OTT service providers, etc)
    • Ensure billing accuracy, completeness, and timely submission in line with service contracts and delivery milestones.
    • Billing delivery on a fixed schedule, typically by the first working day of each month. As such, statement preparation may occasionally require work on weekends or holidays, depending on how the calendar aligns.
    • This role requires a high level of discipline, accountability, and attention to due dates, to ensure accuracy and timeliness to ensure revenue operations and customer trust.
    • Consolidate and validate input from multiple teams (traffic reports, usage data, etc) to produce billing documentation aligned with contract terms and service status.
    • Ensure proper financial documentation, audit readiness, and operational compliance across billing and quoting workflows. Billing scope typically covers streaming traffic, platform maintenance fees, and licensing charges.

    Third-Party Software Contract Management

    • Manage negotiation and internal review of third-party software contractual terms for service integration.
    • Coordinate internal approvals, documentation, and contract tracking for software tools or external vendors. Experience with tools such as Google Sheets, ERP systems, Tableau, Looker, Notion, or Jira is highly preferred.

    Operational Process Optimization

    • Map and improve workflows related to billing, quoting, and contract approval across Account Managers, Legal, Sales, Engineering, and Finance.
    • Identify automation opportunities via AI tools to optimize manual tasks efficiency.
    • Create and maintain SOPs, documentation, and process training materials for recurring business operations tasks.

    Financial & Quotation Operations Support

    • Review and maintain internal quotation templates and pricing logic to ensure market fit, profitability, and consistency.
    • Collaborate with Solution Program Managers and Sales to perform commercial validation on new development quotations and pricing assumptions.
    • Provide insight and feedback into pricing tier structures, bundled service logic, and margin opportunities. Ensure quotation standards are aligned with service offerings, delivery expectations, and operational realities.

    Stakeholder Collaboration

    • Key coordination point between cross teams i.e., Account Managers, Program Management, Legal, Finance, Engineering, for billing and commercial operations.
    • Proactively follow up to gather data, validate inputs, and ensure delivery of accurate outputs across business units.

    Program Support Flexibility

    • Support Solution Program Managers in regular operational tasks (e.g., project documentation, status tracking, cost validation) to ensure smooth customer engagement and delivery continuity.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
    • 3+ years of experience in business operations, billing, sales operations, or financial project coordination in software, tech, or streaming industries.
    • Experience with quotation and billing workflows, pricing models, and cost management in B2B environments.
    • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and structured process development.
    • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and financial systems.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Chinese and English are required. The role involves regular English billing documentation and collaboration with international teams, including English/Japanese-speaking Account Managers. Japanese proficiency is a plus.
    • Experience working in global, remote, or cross-functional teams is highly valued.
    • Must demonstrate discipline and responsibility to meet critical, fixed monthly billing deadlines even when they fall on weekends or holidays. While travel is generally not required, occasional weekend or holiday work may be necessary for billing statement preparations.
