We are looking for a dedicated and independent Legal Counsel to join our Legal & Compliance Division. This role will report directly to the General Counsel and contribute to a wide range of legal functions, including corporate governance, regulatory compliance, legal operations optimization, and contract review and legal advisory work across KKCompanys business entities.

This is a pivotal role for professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are eager to grow into a strategic legal partner within a dynamic, international tech company.

Responsibilities:

1. Corporate Governance & Regulatory Compliance

• Assist in preparation, review, and documentation of Board of Directors and Shareholder meetings.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments (especially in Taiwan) relevant to corporate operations and ensure internal compliance alignment.
• Support the maintenance of corporate registers, legal records, and official filings.

2. Legal Operations & Departmental Process Optimization

• Participate in designing and implementing internal legal protocols, templates, knowledge-sharing systems, and digital management tools.
• Contribute to legal project management, cross-departmental collaboration, and workflow performance tracking.
• Identify improvement areas to enhance the overall effectiveness of the Legal & Compliance Division.

3. Contract Review & Legal Advisory

• Review, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts across various business units (e.g., service agreements, licensing agreements, data protection clauses, cloud services, etc.).
• Advise internal stakeholders on legal issues across general corporate, product, intellectual property, and consumer protection areas.
• Support resolution of legal disputes, assist with litigation management and risk mitigation initiatives.

Requirements:

• LL.B. or higher degree in law; qualified Taiwanese attorney preferred.
• At least 3 years of relevant legal experience, ideally combining in-house counsel and law firm roles. The title will be identified depending on the seniority.
• Strong command of English (reading, writing, speaking); overseas legal education or professional experience in an English-speaking country is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with Taiwanese corporate law, securities regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Strong ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Language: Mandarin (native level), English (professional working proficiency)

• Familiarity with intellectual property, data privacy, or cloud service legal matters.
• Interest in legal operations (e.g., knowledge management systems, contract lifecycle management).
