Responsibilities
- Design minor electrical circuits and test and troubleshoot electrical, PLC, and electronic circuits used for machine control
- Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits
- Install electrical and electronic controls on machines and equipment
- Perform basic mechanical repairs
- Dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective parts such as brushes and armatures
- Install and monitor the performance of electrical equipment
- Layout, assemble, install, test, repair, and adjust electrical fixtures and equipment
- Perform various tasks as directed by the Group Leader
Qualifications
- Two-year Associate degree required
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience
- Ability to utilize a computer to search for parts and enter work into a CMMS
