Responsibilities

  • Design minor electrical circuits and test and troubleshoot electrical, PLC, and electronic circuits used for machine control
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits
  • Install electrical and electronic controls on machines and equipment
  • Perform basic mechanical repairs
  • Dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective parts such as brushes and armatures
  • Install and monitor the performance of electrical equipment
  • Layout, assemble, install, test, repair, and adjust electrical fixtures and equipment
  • Perform various tasks as directed by the Group Leader

Qualifications

  • Two-year Associate degree required
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to utilize a computer to search for parts and enter work into a CMMS
