The Electro Mechanical Technician 2 will be responsible for designing and troubleshooting minor electrical circuits as well as ensuring the smooth operation of machines and equipment. This role involves working with hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, installing electrical controls, and performing basic mechanical repairs. The ideal candidate must demonstrate a strong understanding of electrical systems and be able to interpret schematics effectively.

Skills

Responsibilities

  • Design and test minor electrical circuits for machinery control
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits
  • Install electrical and electronic controls on machines
  • Perform basic mechanical repairs
  • Dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective parts
  • Install and monitor electrical equipments performance
  • Conduct layouts, assemblies, installations, tests, repairs, and adjustments of electrical fixtures
  • Mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures as per specifications
  • Perform a variety of work as directed by the Group Leader

Qualifications

  • Two-year Associate degree and 2-4 years work experience required
  • Ability to utilize a computer to search for parts and enter work into a CMMS
