Senior Transport Controller - Alberton

Our client is looking for a Senior Transport Controller to coordinate deliveries, manage drivers, optimise routes, ensure compliance, and maintain efficient transport operations in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities
Plan routes, schedules, and dispatch to ensure on-time deliveries
Monitor vehicles, track shipments, and manage delays or breakdowns
Manage drivers, brief teams, and enforce operational procedures
Ensure compliance with safety, PPE, and company policies
Coordinate fleet maintenance, inspections, and fuel management

Qualifications
3-year qualification in Logistics, Transport, or similar
Minimum 2 years' experience in transport or logistics
Knowledge of route planning, fleet management, and TMS
Strong computer literacy and administrative skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage teams
