Structural Engineering Draughtsman/Technician - Klerksdorp

Introduction

Our client in Klerksdorp is looking for a Structural Engineering Draughtsman/Technician to produce detailed drawings, support structural projects, and ensure accurate technical documentation across concrete and steel structures.

Duties & Responsibilities

Prepare structural layouts, general arrangement drawings, and details.
Produce sections, elevations, and reinforcement detailing.
Develop steel and concrete structural drawings accurately.
Conduct site visits for measurements and project support.
Ensure drawings meet project specs and engineering standards.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Advanced CAD and technical drawing skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good understanding of structural engineering principles.
Ability to interpret engineering designs and specifications.
Effective communication and site coordination skills.

National Diploma in Civil Engineering (advantageous).
Minimum 12+ years' draughting experience in structural engineering.
Strong proficiency in CAD software (CADDIE or similar).
Experience using Prokon for structural detailing.
Willingness to relocate to Klerksdorp and conduct site visits.
