Our client in Cape Town is looking for an Inter Branch Transfer (IBT) Manager to oversee stock movement, manage logistics between branches, and ensure efficient IBT operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
Matric plus a 3-year tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
Minimum 3 years' management experience, 5 years in FMCG/logistics.
Advanced MS Office, Excel skills, and strong IT literacy.
Excellent communication, customer relations, numeracy, and report writing skills.
Knowledge of IBT processes, decision-making, and analytical abilities.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update IBT trackers; report to depots and principals.
Plan and schedule collection, dispatch, and stock movement between branches.
Manage IBT staging, picking, checking, and dispatch processes.
Conduct pallet inspections, discrepancy checks, and quality compliance.
Liaise with transporters to confirm bookings and resolve operational issues.
