Exposure to Australian residential construction required. KNOWLEDGE/ EDUCATION · Candidate should have a Bachelor's/College Degree in an Engineering (Structural / Mechanical) or equivalent. · Candidate must be willing to work in the office on a daily basis, Monday to Friday 7AM to 4PM. · 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field with Mitek/Pryda software. · High level computer literacy with MS. · Structural beam design is highly advantageous

•  EXPERIENCE · Cooperate with architects and engineers to gather product and structural requirements and designs · Calculate dimensions, weigh limitations, and requirements in materials · Create detailed designs with CAD software · Design layouts to illustrate design concepts and improvements · Identify potential operational issues and redesign to improve functionality · Ensure final designs comply with regulations and quality standard · At least 5 years work experience in similar role COMPETENCIES · Critical thinking skills- help the architect and engineers work in spotting problems with plans and design · Detail Oriented- pays close attention to details so that the plans build is technically accurate · Time management skills- can work under strict deadlines, works efficiently to produce the required output according to set schedules · Familiarity with 3D modelling
