We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Asset Intern to join our team. The intern will assist in managing and tracking IT assets throughout their lifecycle, ensuring accurate inventory records, and supporting various IT asset management processes. This internship offers hands-on experience in IT asset management and the opportunity to work closely with the IT team to gain valuable skills and knowledge in the field.

Asset Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining an up-to-date inventory of all IT assets, including hardware, software, and licenses. 
- 
Asset Tagging and Tracking: Help in tagging new IT equipment and ensuring all assets are accurately recorded in the asset management system. 
- 
Data Entry and Reporting: Input asset data into the asset management system and generate reports as needed for audits, compliance, and management reviews. 
- 
Asset Audits: Participate in regular physical audits of IT assets to ensure accuracy between physical and recorded inventories. 
- 
Deployment and Recovery: Assist with the deployment of IT assets to end-users and the recovery of assets at the end of their lifecycle. 
- 
Documentation: Support the creation and maintenance of documentation related to IT asset management processes and procedures. 
- 
Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Basic understanding of IT hardware and familiarity with asset management systems is a plus. 
- 
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing and recording asset information. Ability to spot discrepancies in data and take corrective actions to maintain accurate records.

Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. 
- 
Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills; able to work collaboratively with team members. Ability to create clear and concise documentation and reports.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move IT equipment (e.g., computers, monitors, servers) as needed for asset deployment and recovery.
