Proven experience in a detailing role, with some knowledge regarding steel house
framing systems.
• Proficiency in CAD software for creating detailed accurate technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of building codes, structural requirements and relevant
regulations within the residential construction industry.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills and an excellent ability to crosscollaborate with various departments and teams.

Produce detailed technical drawings and/or plans for the manufacture and
installation of steel and timber house frames, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure structural designs are being met, making
adjustment where relevant, and ensuring feasibility during the construction
process.
• Provide detailed drawings ensuring all materials are relevant, and all methods
align with project specifications.
• Review and ensure compatibility of framing structures are compliant with other
building materials such as lining and cladding from time-to-time.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to confirm material availability and
agreed upon delivery times, ensuring a smooth process end-to-end.
• Conduct site visits (where necessary), offering technical support to installation
teams when needed.
• Ensure the filing and updating of documentation are up to standard with the
businesses filing standards, ensuring ease of access for future projects and audits.
