We are seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to join our team, specializing in hiring top talent for software engineering roles. As a Technical Recruiter, you will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring skilled software engineers, QA engineers, Business Systems Analysts (BSA), and ETL developers with expertise in various technologies such as Java, React, Angular, .Net, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and others. You will work closely with our engineering teams to understand their hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies to meet those needs.

  1. Recruitment Strategy:

• Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top software engineering talent.

• Utilize various recruitment channels, including social media, job boards, employee referrals, and professional networks.

• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including engineering teams, hiring managers, and other recruiters.

  1. Candidate Sourcing:

• Identify and source top software engineering talent through various means, including: o + Social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, GitHub) o + Job boards (e.g., Indeed, Glassdoor, LinkedIn Jobs, JobStreet) o + Employee referrals o + Professional networks (e.g., industry events, conferences, school) o + Online communities (e.g., Reddit, Stack Overflow) o Work with 3rd party Agencies

• Utilize advanced search techniques, including Boolean search and LinkedIn Recruiter.

  1.  Candidate Evaluation:

• Evaluate candidate resumes, cover letters, and online profiles to determine fit for software engineering roles.

• Conduct phone or video interviews to assess candidate technical skills, experience, and fit for the company culture. • Collaborate with hiring managers to develop and conduct technical assessments, including coding challenges and whiteboarding exercises.

  1.  Interview Coordination:

• Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.

• Ensure a smooth interview process, including preparing candidates for interviews and providing feedback to hiring managers.

  1.  Offer Extension and Negotiation:

• Extend job offers to selected candidates and negotiate employment terms, including salary, benefits, and start date.

• Collaborate with hiring managers to develop and extend competitive job offers.

  1.  Onboarding and Integration:

• Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires, including coordinating with HR, IT, and other stakeholders.

• Facilitate new hire integration, including introductions to the team, training, and equipment setup.

  1.  Metrics and Reporting:

• Track and analyze recruitment metrics, including time-to-hire, source of hire, and candidate satisfaction.

• Provide regular recruitment updates and insights to hiring managers and other stakeholders.

1. Education:

a. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.

2. Experience:

a. At least 2 years of experience in technical recruitment, preferably in a software engineering or IT recruitment role.

b. Proven track record of successfully recruiting software engineering talent.

3. Technical Skills:

a. Familiarity with software engineering technologies, including Java, React, Angular, .Net, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and others.

b. Understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.

4. Soft Skills:

a. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

b. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.

c. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to think critically.

 

Nice to Have:

1. Experience with recruitment tools:

a. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), such as Workday, BambooHR, or Greenhouse.

b. Experience with recruitment marketing platforms, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Glassdoor, or Indeed.

2. Knowledge of diversity and inclusion:

a. Understanding of diversity and inclusion principles and practices in recruitment. b. Experience with diversity and inclusion initiatives, including sourcing and outreach programs
