We are seeking a structured, tech-savvy Training Specialist to design, deliver, and evaluate comprehensive training programs for our advanced robotics solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring that internal staff gain the expertise required to operate, deploy, and maintain our robotic systems safely and efficiently.

Program Development & Instructional Design
- Conducts learning needs analysis for functional topics (basic) and soft skills
- Design, update, and maintain powerpoint presentation, technical manuals, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and quick-reference guides.
- Create multi-modal learning content, including hands-on lab exercises and visual quick-guides.
- Partner with Subject Matter Experts and Team Leads, to translate complex technical concepts into accessible training materials.
Instruction & Facilitation
- Deliver hands-on, instructor-led training (ILT) and/or virtual instruction on robot operation, safety standards, routine maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
- Conduct onboarding training for new hires
- Run technical training workshops and certification sessions for robot operators
- Conduct New hire orientation and soft skills training for employees
Safety & Compliance
- Enforce industrial safety standards (e.g., ISO 10218, ANSI/RIA R15.06) across all training environments and simulation setups.
- Ensure all trainees pass rigorous safety protocols before operating hardware in real-world or laboratory settings.
Assessment & Program Optimization
- Build assessment tools, practical evaluations, and certification criteria to measure trainee competency.
- Gather feedback post-training, analyze performance metrics, and iterate on training programs to continuously improve effectiveness.
- Track completion rates and certifications. Update and maintain Training Record Database.
Required:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Industrial Technology, Education, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: 2–4 years of experience as a Technical or Functional Trainer
- Technical Aptitude: Ability to navigate basic robot movements using a controller. Must pass the TeleOp tryouts.
- Communication: Exceptional presentation, verbal, and written skills; comfortable commanding a classroom or facilitating hands-on workshop setups.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have:
- Direct experience with industrial or service robotics (e.g., FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Universal Robots, or autonomous mobile robots/AMRs).
- Familiarity with safety standards (OSHA, RIA, ISO).
