We are looking for an energetic, problem solving, analytic Data Analyst who will continue to drive happiness for our Sales Compensation initiatives. As part of the Sales Compensation team, this position will be responsible for anything related to Sales Incentive analytics. You will participate in the Sales Plan Design and provide analysis and feedback. You will collaborate and partner with Sales Ops & Enablement, Sales Finance, HR, Accounting & Revenue Operations to provide insights and resolve issues.
The Data Analyst will be a key member of the Global Sales Compensation team. The ideal candidate is self-sufficient, and a team player that constantly strive to synthetize complex data into simple consumable deliverables with clear story and takeaways, has an eye for details with accuracy, and excellent communication skills.
Duties and responsibilities
- Participate in quarterly company sales compensation planning cycle, provide analytics to leadership to support decision making
- Own analytics and modeling to drive decision making for Incentive Compensation plan changes, SPIFFs, and performance metrics to ensure alignment with company’s objectives
- Regularly interact with all levels of management to address complex compensation issues and developing and implementing effective solutions
- Deliver dashboards for Sales, Finance and Exec leaders on Sales performance and commission trends
- Own President’s Club reporting dashboard and resolution
- Support integration of acquisition companies' incentive compensation programs including assessment of plans, payout curves and policies
- Support projects that assist sales enablement, SOX compliance and systems integration.
Minimum qualifications
- BA/BS in a related field and 2+ years of experience in data analysis.
- Experience in sales compensation or sales operations in a professional, fast-paced environment (hi-tech).
- Possess strong analytical skills to effectively analyze data and create meaningful, understandable models, reports, metrics, and charts.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint
- Strong quantitative, analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent documentation, communication and presentation skills
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic start-up environment. Able to quickly adapt to new technologies and process changes.
