We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing accounting team. This role will support the U.S. entity’s general ledger and financial operations, working closely with the Accounting Manager and U.S. Finance team.

You’ll play a key role in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close, perform journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting, and assist with annual audit preparation. The ideal candidate is independent, proactive, and experienced in U.S. GAAP and NetSuite, with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams.

This position is fully remote, with occasional alignment to U.S. Pacific hours during closing periods.

  • Handle day-to-day general ledger accounting and related journal entries (cash, accruals, allocations, investments, intercompany, etc.).
  • Perform monthly and quarterly account reconciliations and ensure all schedules are up to date.
  • Prepare and post cash-related journal entries, ensuring accuracy and documentation compliance.
  • Manage and maintain prepaid expenses and amortization schedules.
  • Maintain the fixed asset register and related schedules.
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities with minimal supervision.
  • Review and reconcile payroll and payroll-related benefits.
  • Support intercompany transactions and payment processing.
  • Assist with annual audit support by preparing required documentation and schedules.
  • Participate in ad hoc accounting tasks or process improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and auditors.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and internal controls. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 6–7+ years of relevant accounting experience (general ledger focus).
  • Experience with U.S. GAAP and exposure to U.S. entity accounting (required).
  • Hands-on experience in NetSuite (required).
  • Experience with Oracle or SAP ERP systems (preferred and considered transferable).
  • QuickBooks-only experience is not preferred.
  • CPA license is a strong plus but not required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational ability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, with minimal supervision.
