The Assets Operations Associate is responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities involved in managing the organization’s IT and physical assets. This includes tagging, tracking, issuing, and receiving equipment, as well as helping maintain accurate inventory records. The role plays a key part in ensuring assets are properly documented and handled according to company policies and procedures. This entry-level position offers valuable exposure to asset lifecycle management, IT operations, and administrative coordination within a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

Inventory Management Support
- Assist in maintaining up-to-date asset records in the inventory tracking system.
- Tag and label equipment upon delivery or prior to deployment.
- Help conduct periodic physical audits and reconcile asset data.
Asset Issuance & Retrieval
- Prepare assets for deployment (e.g., laptops, monitors, peripherals).
- Support asset issuance to new employees and coordinate collection from offboarded staff.
- Document all handovers and returns using standard forms and checklists.
Logistics & Coordination
- Support the packaging and shipping of assets to remote employees or between office locations.
- Coordinate with courier services or internal teams for asset movement or deliveries.
Data Entry & Documentation
- Input asset details accurately into tracking systems and spreadsheets.
- File and organize documentation related to asset transfers, repairs, and returns.
- Maintain logs for maintenance, repairs, and warranty claims as instructed.
Compliance & Handling
- Follow internal policies for asset handling, storage, and security.
- Assist in the secure disposal of obsolete or damaged assets under supervision.
- Report any missing, damaged, or untagged assets promptly to the supervisor.
- Bachelor’s degree or associate degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (or currently pursuing).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Willingness to learn and take direction in a structured environment.
- Internship or prior experience in inventory, logistics, or administrative support (a plus, not required).
- Familiarity with IT hardware such as laptops, monitors, and peripherals.
- Exposure to asset tracking tools or ticketing systems and proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), OODO, PowerBi, or any tools related to Asset Management.
