The People Experience Strategist supports the development and execution of internal and external engagement initiatives that strengthen KMC’s organizational culture and employee experience. Working under the guidance of the People Engagement Assistant Manager and in collaboration with HR Business Partners, Account Managers, and clients, this role provides operational and strategic assistance in rolling out programs designed for both the general employee population and key talent segments. 

  

This role serves as a strategic partner in shaping communication initiatives, supporting the development and execution of culture-focused programs and events, and overseeing logistics for a range of engagement activities. The Culture Strategist plays a key role in delivering initiatives across virtual, onsite, and hybrid environments, ensuring alignment with organizational values and fostering meaningful employee connections. 

  

The role also involves conducting research, gathering feedback, and supporting data analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of culture and engagement programs. Through strong coordination, creativity, and stakeholder support, the Culture Strategist helps bring culture-focused projects to life and enhances the reach and impact of the People Engagement Team’s efforts.

  • Leads and supports the rollout of culture and engagement programs across virtual, onsite, and hybrid setups 

  • Coordinates logistics, schedules, and requirements with internal teams, HR Business Partners, Account Managers, and external partners 

  • Assists in creating and cascading communication materials such as emailers, event invites, and internal culture content 

  • Acts as a strategic partner for employee engagement activities, wellness programs and Culture Building Campaigns 

  • Gathers employee feedback through surveys, interviews, and focus groups; compiles and organizes data for analysis 

  • Manages documentation and reporting of program outcomes, employee participation, and engagement metrics 

  • Contributes to internal storytelling by drafting or supporting content that promotes KMC’s values and people 

  • Ensures all initiatives are inclusive, values-aligned, and contribute to a positive employee experience 

  • Offers on-the-ground or virtual event support to ensure smooth facilitation and participant satisfaction 

  • Source resource speakers or vendors for key accounts engagement needs 

  • Provides operational support to business units in executing engagement and culture-building activities tailored to their needs 

  • Contributes to problem-solving efforts by identifying engagement gaps and recommending support solutions 

 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

  • Basic project coordination and organizational abilities  

  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks 

  • Creativity in content creation and event conceptualization 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic design or communication tools (e.g., Canva, Google Suite, email platforms) 

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams 

  • Basic research and data gathering skills 

  • Adaptability to work in virtual, onsite, and hybrid environments 

  • Customer service mindset and employee-centric approach 

  • Understanding of company values and culture-driven initiatives 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, Marketing, or related field 

  • At least 1–2 years of experience in employee engagement, internal communications, events coordination, or related HR support roles 

  • Experience supporting virtual, onsite, or hybrid events and programs 

  • Familiarity with employee engagement tools, survey platforms, or internal communication systems is a plus 

  • Experience working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
