The Tax Specialist is responsible for preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual local tax compliance. This includes responsibilities for all documentation and support and researching any relevant issues. Responsible for responding to related tax correspondence and PEZA related concerns. Assist to the Officer with the preparation of the annual tax provision and related tax accounting.

  • Responsible for the processing of regulatory requirements with BIR of the companies: 
  • Responsible for the submission of CAS Permit (Books of Accounts) requirements (BIR) of the companies: 
  • Responsible for the submission of various reportorial requirements with government agencies of Company such as: 
    • Vat Returns (Monthly and Quarterly) 
    • Income Tax Return (Quarterly and Annual) 
    • Withholding Tax Return (Expanded, Compensation, and Final Tax) 
    • Submission of Audited Financial Statements with BIR & SEC 
    • Filing of Returns thru Electronic Filing and EBIR Offline 
    • AMLA (Anti-Money Laundering Act) Reporting 
  • Submission of Quarterly Alpha list & Vat Relief 
  • Annual submission of 1604CF and 1604E thru e-submission 
  • Responsible for preparing BIR Documents in relation with other departments such as DST and BIR concerns for all entities. 
  • Monthly clean-up of BIIR payments and filing in the books 
  • Updates monthly balance sheet tax schedule for all entities. 
  • Respond to related tax correspondence and research issues as they arise. 
  • Knowledge in BIR Audit Assessment (LOA) 
  • Preparation of PEZA Monthly Report 
  • Preparation of PEZA TIMTA Reports 
  • Preparation of PEZA Local Sales Reports 
  • Submissions of PEZA reportorial requirements 
  • Other functions that may be assigned by the officer and Manager. 
  • Filing of Audited Financial Statement thru SEC OST 
  • BS Accountancy graduate with at least 2 years’ experience with domestic corporate tax filings. 
  • Must have an experience handling BIR related filings, LOA, and other related cases 
  • Extensive use of Microsoft Excel & Word and experience with tax software (EFPS, EBIRFORMS, EFAST). 
  • Good communication and writing skills to interact with various departments and with outside reporting jurisdictions. 
  • Preferably with General Accounting Experience
