In this role, you will be focused on completing job alignment projects for our clients. This will entail using various tools to ensure that the clients’ jobs are aligned to a similar job in a compensation survey. You will work with internal Payscale contacts to complete the work and may occasionally interact with customers directly. Projects will vary from about a dozen jobs to several hundred. You may receive customer questions via email, and we will triage those questions to be handled by the appropriate team at Payscale. You may respond to level 1 support requests regarding the work you completed.
A day in the life:
On a typical day, you may:
- Analyze job descriptions and align them to the peer data set in Payfactors
- Use Excel to assist in querying the peer data set
- Meet with co-workers over video call to review and quality check your work
- Troubleshoot hard-to-match jobs with a colleague over a video call
- Triage level 1 customers' questions and concerns to other teams at Payscale
- This is an entry-level position, and we have had success with candidates with backgrounds in HR, qualitative research, and library/information science.
- Experience with relational databases is a plus
