The KMC General Accounting - Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the general accounting under Teams Segment which is related to BPO services focusing on providing skilled workforce. This role ensures accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective management of his/her team.

- Oversee and manage the general accounting functions: This includes accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes: Manage the closing processes to ensure that financial statements are prepared in a timely manner and in compliance with GAAP.
- Prepare and review financial statements: Ensure that financial statements are accurate, complete, and in compliance with GAAP, providing a clear picture of the financial health of the BPO services segment.
- Coordinate and manage the annual audit process: Liaise with external auditors, provide necessary documentation, and ensure the implementation of audit recommendations to improve financial processes and controls.
- Develop and implement internal control policies: Create and enforce policies, guidelines, and procedures for accounting activities to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations.
- Manage and mentor accounting staff: Provide training and professional development opportunities to accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and skill enhancement.
- Analyze financial data: Provide insights and analysis to senior management to support strategic decision-making, focusing on the financial performance and profitability of the BPO services segment.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings: Stay updated with regulatory changes and ensure that all reporting and tax filing requirements are met.
- Collaborate with other departments: Work closely with other departments to support overall department and corporate goals and objectives, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
- Act as a point of contact for the General Accounting Manager: Assist with special projects as required, providing support and expertise to ensure successful project completion.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of accounting experience, with at least 3-4 years in a supervisory role.
- Thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Experience with financial reporting requirements.
- Proven experience in managing accounting and finance software packages.
- Leadership: Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in accounting software (preferably Oracle Netsuite) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ethics: High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
