About the Role

We are looking for a Communications and Branding Specialist to support leadership teams across APAC by drafting and refining communications in alignment with Uber’s branding and tone. This role will also be responsible for organizing and executing leadership touchpoints such as All Hands meetings and Town Halls, ensuring seamless coordination and execution.

  • Communications & Branding
    • Draft and refine communications from various support teams and leaders, ensuring alignment with Uber’s tone and branding.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop internal messaging that is clear, engaging, and impactful.
    • Work closely with senior leaders to create branded presentations, internal newsletters, and campaign materials.
    • Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all internal communications.
  • Leadership Event Management
    • Own and manage leadership engagement events such as All Hands meetings, Town Halls, and key leadership touchpoints.
    • Work closely with the CER+MS team and senior stakeholders to design agendas, speaker lineups, and content.
    • Handle event logistics, including scheduling, coordination, and live event support (e.g., Zoom hosting, Q&A moderation).
    • Create post-event summaries and engagement insights to improve future events.
  • Stakeholder & Team Collaboration
    • Work closely with other CER+MS team members to ensure seamless execution of events and communications projects.
    • Build strong relationships with regional leaders and support teams to gather key updates and initiatives.
    • Provide branding guidance and communication support to various teams within APAC CommOps.
  • 2+ years of experience in communications, branding, event coordination, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft professional and engaging content.
  • Experience in internal communications, corporate branding, or employee engagement initiatives.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Slides, Sheets, Calendar) and Zoom hosting/admin.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing tasks.
  • Experience in corporate communications, public relations, or content marketing.
  • Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Figma) or branding best practices.
  • Proven ability to work with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in event planning and logistics, particularly in a corporate or global business setting.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for storytelling, branding, and employee engagement.
