WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
● Edit short-form videos (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) based on our creative specs.
● Repurpose long-form content into multiple short clips per day.
● Apply hooks, pacing, captions, subtitles, and framing that fit platform culture.
● Research high-performing content in our clients’ niches (what’s working, why it’s working).
● Spot trends early—without chasing trends blindly.
● Organize assets cleanly for review and iterate quickly based on team feedback.
● Prepare final edits for approval before client delivery.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
● Proven experience editing short-form content (TikTok / Reels / Shorts).
● Proficiency in tools like CapCut, Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar.
● Strong English comprehension (spoken and written).
● Deep understanding of subtitles, captions, hooks, and pacing specific to short-form.
● Bonus: Experience working directly with creators, influencers, or digital brands.

● Is a creative problem solver. You can solve your own problems but know when to ask
for help.
● Is an expert at video editing. You must be able to execute in-the-moment edits for clients quite frequently.
● Understands speed. You don't need to be an expert at every task, but you understand how to learn and execute fast.
● Lives on the internet and actually understands it.
● Has strong “internet common sense”—timing, tone, memes, pacing, and nuance.
● Knows why some videos feel native and others feel forced.
● Understands short-form storytelling and retention.
● Is detail-oriented, reliable, and organized.
● Is comfortable working with high-profile clients and confidential content.
