The Compliance Associate is responsible for the end-to-end execution and monitoring of regulatory registrations, renewals, and compliance requirements for Company operations in South Cities. The role ensures that all statutory, licensing, tax, and regulatory obligations are completed accurately and on time, while serving as the primary point of coordination with government agencies and internal stakeholders. The Compliance Specialist supports risk mitigation, operational continuity, and regulatory readiness through disciplined monitoring, documentation, and reporting.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

 

Regulatory Registration and Compliance

  • Conduct end-to-end registration and permitting for South cities sites, ensuring full compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure timely processing, completeness, and accuracy of all registration documentation and regulatory submissions.
  • Be updated on ALL existing & new issuances & guidelines from LGU, BFP, BIR and DOLE.

 

Renewals, Reassessments, and Tax Compliance

  • Manage permit renewals and regulatory reassessments, ensuring compliance with prescribed timelines and updated regulatory requirements.
  • Handle BIR LIS and related tax registration and compliance requirements in coordination with internal finance and tax teams.
  • Support and process Documentary Stamp Tax (DST) requirements related to contracts of lease (COL) and parking agreements.

 

Contract and Site Compliance Management

  • Monitor compliance-related aspects of contracts, ensuring alignment with regulatory and permitting requirements.
  • Manage site movements, including amendments, expansions, relocations, and terminations, ensuring timely updates to regulatory registrations and permits.

 

 

 

 

 

Inspections and Agency Coordination

  • Act as the primary point of contact (POC) for all agency-related inspections, coordinating with regulators, landlords, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Facilitate inspection readiness, documentation preparation, and post-inspection follow-through to address findings and action items.

 

Monitoring, Reporting, and Documentation

  • Track compliance activities through established monitoring tools and calendars, escalating risks and delays as necessary.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly updates on assigned compliance tasks and deliverables, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain organized, complete, and audit-ready compliance records in both physical and electronic filing systems.
  • Ensure 0% SLA breach on tickets assigned

 

Collaboration and Support

  • Coordinate closely with Legal, Finance, Operations, Engineering, and external partners to ensure seamless compliance execution.
  • Respond to compliance-related inquiries and provide timely status updates to stakeholders.
  • Perform other compliance-related duties and special projects as may be assigned from time to time.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Management, Political Science, or any related business or management course.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in a BPO, shared services, or similar corporate environment.
  • With relevant background or exposure in compliance, regulatory monitoring, or risk management.

 

Minimum Competencies:

  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to multitask, prioritize work, and manage time effectively under deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Windows‑based applications.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with partners, associates, and clients.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, positive team‑oriented attitude, and solid work ethic.
