The primary function of this role is to ensure the security and integrity of company information systems by managing our cybersecurity measures, performing system upgrades, and addressing vulnerabilities through rigorous testing and remediation processes.

- Implement and manage security measures such as firewalls and data encryption programs to protect systems and information infrastructures.
- Regularly upgrade systems to support the latest security software and enhance protection measures.
- Conduct thorough penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities within the system and develop effective remediation strategies.
- Analyze the company's IT requirements and provide strategic advice on the application and management of IT security solutions.
- Engage with end-users to collect feedback and make continuous improvements to security protocols.
- Monitor the organization’s computer infrastructure, systems, and networks for security issues, and take corrective actions as needed.
- Investigate and document cybersecurity incidents and breaches, assessing their impact and developing protocols to prevent future occurrences.
- Maintain high-security standards by addressing detected vulnerabilities promptly.
- Stay abreast of new trends and technologies in IT security, testing and evaluating new tools and technologies that could enhance security measures.
- Develop and implement company-wide best practices for IT security.
- Research and recommend security enhancements to management, helping to drive informed decision-making on IT security investments.
- Proven experience in managing firewalls and implementing network security measures.
- Expertise in conducting penetration testing and handling security breaches.
- Strong knowledge of data encryption technologies and security protocols.
- Ability to analyze IT security requirements and effectively advise on the implementation of IT security solutions.
- Experience with system upgrade procedures to enhance security features.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically.
- Strong documentation skills to accurately record and report security breaches and assessments.
- Advanced certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CEH).
- Experience with the latest IT security trends and technologies.
- Strong communication skills to effectively gather feedback from end-users and communicate security protocols.
- Research skills to stay informed about new security enhancements and best practices.
- Leadership and project management skills to develop and implement strategic security practices across the company.
