- Escalation Support: Receive and address Tier 1 escalations, providing prompt and effective resolutions to network-related problems.
- Network Changes: Perform level 1-2 network change requests, ensuring changes are implemented accurately and according to established protocols.
- Network Design: Contribute to network design activities, collaborating with engineers and architects to develop scalable and reliable network solutions.
- Circuit and Network Installations: Coordinate and oversee circuit installations, network deployments, and infrastructure upgrades, adhering to project timelines.
- Troubleshooting Expertise: Utilize advanced troubleshooting techniques and tools to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network changes, designs, and installation processes.
- Customer Ticket Updates: Provide regular updates to customers regarding the status and progress of their tickets.
- Project and Report Support: Assist with projects, generate reports, and contribute to project-related documentation.
- Network Maintenance: Attend network maintenance activities during or off business hours as required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in network engineering or a similar field.
- Thorough understanding of IT LAN and WAN networking concepts.
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco and Fortinet Technologies.
- Hold industry certifications such as Cisco CCNP or Fortinet Certified Professional.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective collaboration with team members, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Commitment to ongoing learning, training, and development.
Requirements:
- Availability for night shifts.
- Reliable home internet connection and a quiet work environment.
- Cisco CCIE or Fortinet Certified Solutions Specialist is a plus.
