The Retail Creative team are responsible for art direction and execution for our retail work across all channels. Working to brand and seasonal styleguides, templated layouts and approved campaign/brand creative supplied by the Brand Experience team, the RC is responsible for bringing each delivery brief to life creatively.

The role collaborates closely with project management, photography, digital arts and finished art to delivery to tight, project-based deadlines and is tech-enabled to ensure that human skill and craft is applied at the most appropriate points in the process.

  • Excellent concepting and art direction skills, particularly in lifestyle product photography (or digitally created imagery) and layout design.
  • Creative agency or in-house creative/brand team experience on fast-paced retail, telco, banking or similar accounts and able to work to tight deadlines.
  • Enthusiastic and knowledgeable about using AI and tech-enabled workflows to enhance creative execution.
  • Strong time management and prioritising skills
  • Commercially oriented and able to work creatively within a set process and inflexible deadlines.
  • Clear and effective communication with both internal teams and clients as required.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe 
  • Creative Cloud suite with particular strength in InDesign as well as a working knowledge of Figma.
  • Experience with image creation tools such as Higgsfield, Krea and/or other open AI plugins to create reference images for photography or digital image creation.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite and Google suite (docs, sheets, slides)Understanding of the digital marketing landscape and able to execute a creative idea across multiple channels. 
  • 5 years in creative; 2 years in art direction
  • Experience in creative agency, in-house brand teams, telco, banking, or similar accounts
  • Strong design and art direction skills across photography, digital image creation, and design layouts
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, especially InDesign
  • Working knowledge of Figma - intermediate
  • Experience using AI‑driven image creation tools (Higgsfield, Krea, or similar plugins) - any would suffice
  • Ability to work creatively within strict processes, templates, and brand style guides
  • Ability to collaborate with photographers, digital artists, retouchers, and project management teams
  • Strong time‑management and prioritization skills
  • Commercially oriented and able to deliver under inflexible deadlines
  • Clear and effective communication skills for internal teams and clients
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • Understanding of the digital marketing landscape and ability to execute creative ideas across multiple channels
  • Broader digital marketing strategy exposure (beyond execution)
  • Additional experience with advanced or emerging AI creative tools (beyond those listed)
